Overview

As a Product Data Analyst at Convizit, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that is building and delivering the next generation of user behavior analytics software. Your role will to be bridge the worlds of our technology and the needs of our clients, by understanding the data stream generated by our platform and devising ways to leverage this data to address real-world challenges.

A central part of your work will be creating dashboards and reports in commonly used product analytics tools; these reports will leverage Convizit’s unique data to deliver tangible business benefits to clients. You will also work with our client success and marketing departments to create written materials that help clients understand and use the reports you design.

You will sometimes work directly with clients, assisting them to implement the reports you design, and to create new ones as per their requests/requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand the unique user behavior data stream generated by our technology and devise ways that e-tailers can leverage it to improve their business performance.
  • Devise ways to incorporate our data stream within web/product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Heap, Mixpanel, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 360) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview), and develop new/creative dashboards and analytic reports in these tools, in order to leverage our data stream to provide tremendous business value to our clients (e.g., identify friction points, detect anomalies, indicate opportunities to optimize a website’s conversion flow).
  • Write use case and tutorial documents that communicate to clients the benefits of, and how to actually implement, your methodologies, dashboards and reports in their own environments.
  • Work directly with clients to support their efforts implementing and leveraging our data in their existing tools.
  • Work with clients to understand any particular analytics needs that they have that Convizit can address – and develop reports (or similar solutions) that address those needs.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to ensure that the company communicates with prospects and clients using appropriate language/terminology.
  • Collaborate with our product team to provide input and suggestions for improving our products.

What We’re Looking For

We’d particularly like to to meet you if you:

  • have 3+ years of proven experience at an analytics agency/consultancy, analyzing e-commerce user behavior data to discover friction points and optimization opportunities
  • have extensive experience using, importing data into and creating reports in Amplitude, Heap, Mixpanel, Adobe Analytics, , Google Analytics 360, Power BI, Tableau and Qlikview (the more, the merrier!)
  • are pretty good with SQL
  • are creative, with strong problem-solving abilities 
  • have strong organizational skills and a business mindset
  • enjoy working with clients
  • are fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • are passionate, even if it’s not about analytics (there should be something you know more about than anyone else on our team!)
  • like fruit, sunshine and bad jokes (we aren’t robots!)
